What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They can be essential for a site to work, or used for things like analytics and advertising.

Cookies we use

We keep cookies to a minimum. Strictly necessary cookies don't require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because the site can't work properly without them.

This cookie is only set when someone logs in to the site's admin area. Ordinary visitors browsing guides or requesting a quote should not receive it. It doesn't track you across other websites and isn't used for advertising.

Third-party content

Our pages link to external websites, such as GOV.UK. Those sites may set their own cookies when you visit them, under their own policies.

No tracking by default

We don't use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies by default. If we decide to introduce any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them, as required by UK law.

Managing cookies

You can view, block and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies or clear cookies when you close the browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies won't affect normal browsing of this site. The ICO's guidance on cookies explains your options in more detail.
